Well, here it is, day number three. Innove’s Globelines Broadband has been down, at my home, since Saturday, 11pm. The so-called priority repair service has never happened. No Calls, No Text Messages. Innove’s Globelines are not calling me, which is the very least they can do.

The hardware from Globelines are now just paperweights. For a long time, like over a year and a half, that hardware has worked and provides months of great service. Now, for three days in a row, that hardware are just paperweights.\

We’re back to the Stone Age, thanks to Innove’s Globelines. I’m using Dial-Up Internet now… It’s like I went 10 years back into my past, when dial-up internet was the norm. I lived in Seattle at that time, and hearing the modem dial up to the Internet Service Provider (ISP) was very common in businesses and households. Now, in December 1, 2008, thanks to Innove’s Globelines, I’m now using Dial-Up Internet service. They claim they want to provide me Broadband Internet, but why do I have to use Dial-Up Internet now?

My wife got me the prepaid card, offering 20 hours for PHP100, and that is with Bl@st, from Bayan Telecommunications. Though the dial-up speeds are much slower than Globeline Broadband, the dial-up connection is the alternative to the lies of Innove. Bayan Telecommunications seems to be the replacement to Innove’s Globelines, as last September 2008, Globelines provided a wired landline that worked for only three weeks. BayanTel’s Wireless Landline has been working fine since August 3, 2008. It is unfortunate that Globelines can’t provide a wired landline service with better reliability.

So far, on dial-up internet access, I got no disconnections, unlike Innove’s Globelines. Dial-up access works without calling 919-8888 and wondering if or when Globelines are going to fix their broadband internet connection.
